Customer Support Specialist I

About the role

Join Experian’s growing call centre in Costa Rica as a Customer Support Specialist I. You will provide high‑quality assistance to members regarding their credit information, helping them understand and maximise the benefits of their memberships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist members with credit‑related memberships, services, and product offerings.
• Advocate for solutions that give members reassurance and peace of mind.
• Explain membership value, benefits, and usage to members.
• Handle escalated customer issues effectively.
• Receive, triage, and forward customer requests to the appropriate functional area.
• Adapt to variations in products and onboard new partners according to standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of inbound call handling experience.
• High school diploma.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and respond to customer requests and document issues in detail.
• Short‑term memory retention and experience handling support requests across multiple channels (85‑90%).
• Proficiency with PC and internet‑based tools for quick decision‑making.
• Successful completion of background, employment, education verification and pre‑employment screening.
