Compensation Analyst

About the role

The Compensation Analyst (P3) at Rocket Software is a professional contributor who independently manages moderately complex projects within the compensation function. The role blends analytical expertise with stakeholder influence to drive operational excellence and strategic compensation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer compensation programs—including base pay, incentive, and equity—while focusing on continuous improvement.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses, delivering strategic recommendations for competitiveness and equity.
• Support the annual compensation planning cycle (merit, bonus, equity) and prepare related documentation.
• Develop and present compensation reports, dashboards, and insights for People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders.
• Provide guidance on job offers, promotions, internal movements, and pay program design.
• Maintain and refine job architecture frameworks across functions and geographies.
• Interpret compensation surveys, identify trends, and recommend policy enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to resolve complex compensation issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of compensation or HR experience with progressive responsibility.
• Strong expertise in market pricing methodologies and compensation tools.
• Proven ability to manage moderately complex projects independently.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
