C# Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C# Engineer to lead the modernization of our core systems. You will transform legacy synchronous workflows into highly concurrent, thread-safe applications while working fully remote within our LATAM team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-threaded, high-performance C# applications.
• Re-architect legacy synchronous processes into scalable, thread-safe solutions.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures and large-scale data transformations.
• Implement distributed data processing using Apache Spark.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain solutions on AWS, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.
• Identify and resolve concurrency issues, perform profiling and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and align architecture with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience with C# and multi-threaded/parallel programming.
• Deep understanding of threading models, synchronization primitives and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to work on complex data operations and modern architectural design.
