Aviation Customer Service Specialist

About the role

The Aviation Customer Service Specialist is the front‑line contact for World Fuel’s global aviation clients. Working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, you will handle inbound requests, resolve issues in real time, and ensure a seamless experience for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high volumes of inbound phone calls and emails from global aviation customers.
• Provide real‑time support, resolving urgent requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs and delivering consistent service.
• Monitor fuel availability and communicate updates or disruptions promptly.
• Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Collections, Supply, and Billing teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Support customer accounts and identify opportunities to enhance service performance.
• Adapt communication style to serve a diverse, global customer base.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in high‑volume customer service, call centre, hospitality, airline or similar fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone while managing multiple interactions.
• Strong customer‑service mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Valid passport and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
