About the role
The Athletic Specialist – Golf supports the golf program within the school district, helping student‑athletes develop their skills and succeed both on the course and in the classroom. This position works closely with coaches, staff, and athletes to deliver high‑quality training and ensure academic progress.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practice, training, and competition for golf.
- Design and implement specific conditioning programs and training routines to improve athletic performance.
- Monitor and support student‑athletes’ academic progress.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Knowledge of golf and ability to coach the sport.
- Ability to pass all required district background checks.
- Completion of required clearance documents before hire: CPR/First Aid, Concussion Training, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching.
