Instructional Designer

About the role

Join Clario’s Client Training team as an Instructional Designer, creating high‑quality learning experiences for sponsors, CROs, site staff and internal teams across global clinical trial programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess learning needs, recommend instructional solutions and develop resources that meet business and client requirements.
• Design and develop customer‑facing training assets related to product, project and protocol‑specific deliverables.
• Create engaging eLearning modules, instructor‑led presentations, job aids, reference guides and documentation.
• Manage all phases of the training development lifecycle, from needs analysis through testing, implementation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic areas and product lines such as Respiratory, Imaging, eCOA, Precision Motion and Cardiac solutions.
• Partner with SMEs across Content Development, Customer Care, Product Management and project teams to ensure training accuracy.
• Contribute to the optimisation of team workflows, processes and best practices.
• Monitor training effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and communicate project risks promptly.
• Support hybrid collaboration through regular in‑office participation and effective remote engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or certification in Learning and Development, Education, Business or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development or instructional design.
• Proven expertise applying instructional design methodologies to create impactful learning experiences.
• Experience developing eLearning and instructor‑led materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or Storyline.
• Strong proficiency in content development, learning technology, curriculum design and project management.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
