Associate Consultant – Performance Analytics (Launch Program 2027)

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services (ACS) is seeking an Associate Consultant to join the Performance Analytics track of its Launch Program 2027 in San Jose, Costa Rica. In this role you will work within small, cross‑functional teams to help leading brands solve strategic challenges using data‑driven insights and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders in virtual and on‑site meetings to understand business problems and deliver analytical solutions.
• Extract, clean, and combine Mastercard, client, and third‑party data sets to investigate trends and build segmentations.
• Develop propensity models, dashboards, and visualisations that translate millions of data points into actionable stories.
• Support the preparation of presentations and recommendations that inform client strategy across industries such as financial services, retail, hospitality and more.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong quantitative background.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
• Interest in consulting, data analytics, and technology‑enabled solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience coding in Python and/or R for analysis and modelling.
• Ability to create data visualisations and dashboards.
