Analista Curricular

About the role

The University of Ciencias Médicas (UCIMED) is seeking a Curriculum Analyst to lead the planning, design, redesign and updating of academic programmes. The role ensures that study plans comply with national regulations (CONESUP, SINAES) and reflect current educational research and institutional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain curricula for multiple university programmes, aligning them with CONESUP and SINAES standards.
• Design new study plans based on institutional goals, national training needs, pedagogical, philosophical and sociocultural foundations, and emerging ICT tools.
• Conduct educational diagnostics and methodological assessments to inform curriculum planning.
• Lead participatory and technical processes for curriculum evaluation and accreditation.
• Prepare and submit technical dossiers for curricular design to regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in university‑level curriculum planning, design, redesign and evaluation.
• Proven experience preparing CONESUP technical files and participating in national or international accreditation processes.
• Familiarity with the SINAES accreditation model and solid knowledge of pedagogy and didactics.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
