Accounts Receivable Representative III

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Representative III will support the company’s financial health by driving effective collection strategies and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding receivables. You will work closely with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, Product Management, and Accounting teams to improve cash flow and minimize financial risk while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of invoices while maintaining positive relationships.
• Proactively contact customers about past‑due balances, investigate payment delays, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes.
• Review and maintain customer accounts within established authority limits.
• Provide payment information, statements, and reconciliations; coordinate payment arrangements when appropriate.
• Process invoice submissions through various portals and ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements.
• Apply incoming payments accurately, research unapplied cash, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Partner with Commercial, FP&A, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve complex AR issues and improve collection effectiveness.
• Support internal and external audits, maintain SOX compliance, and adhere to company financial controls.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit, or a related finance function.
• Experience in a shared‑services or multinational environment is a plus.
• Proficient English (B2 level) with strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
