Team Leader, Customer Service

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced Team Leader to drive excellence within its Customer Service department. You will lead a collaborative team that handles order management, quotations, and administrative support, ensuring high‑quality service for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Customer Service team and resolve complex customer issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, Sales, Marketing and other functions to deliver seamless service.
• Implement strategic initiatives to improve the customer experience and monitor key performance metrics.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze data to make informed decisions and drive process standardisation.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience leading customer‑service teams, preferably in a shared‑services environment.
• Demonstrated people‑management and team‑development experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work cross‑functionally.
