Software Engineer – Production Finance Platform

About the role

As a Software Engineer at GreenSlate you will help build the entertainment industry’s most advanced production finance application. The position is fully remote within Costa Rica and you will work closely with product designers to turn concepts into a modern C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and micro‑services stack.

Key responsibilities

• Develop features in a fast‑paced environment using a solid SDLC (branching, pull requests, CI, QA).
• Apply SOLID principles, test‑driven development and other software‑craftsmanship best practices.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups with teams in New York and Los Angeles, pair‑program, and collaborate across the organization.
• Complete an extensive onboarding covering architecture, technologies, and engineering practices.
• Work with a responsive single‑page application powered by a RESTful API and contribute to an evolving tech stack.
• Use code‑analysis tools to monitor and reduce technical debt.

Required profile

• 1+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong passion for software craftsmanship and excellent English communication.
• Professionalism, solid work ethic, and a sense of humor.

Required skills

• C# or Java.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Back‑end frameworks such as .NET, Spring or Rails.
• Front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Unit testing, RESTful API development, SPA development.
• CI/CD pipelines, code‑analysis tooling.
