Senior Software Developer – Applications

About the role

The Application Developer will design, build and maintain internal web applications and dashboards used across multiple operating companies, including manufacturing, staffing and family‑office investments. Working remotely, you will replace legacy reporting tools with modern React‑based solutions and collaborate directly with business users to turn requirements into production‑ready software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship operator‑facing web applications for diverse business units, replacing legacy Power BI reports with custom React dashboards.
• Create performant, accessible UI using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, and implement backend logic, data models, authentication and row‑level security on Supabase/PostgreSQL.
• Build and consume REST APIs, integrate with enterprise systems, and deploy applications on Vercel (and AWS where required).
• Partner with plant managers, recruiters and executives to translate fuzzy requests into scoped features, conduct user walkthroughs and iterate quickly.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and maintain high standards for testing, security and performance.
• Monitor production, triage issues and leverage AI‑augmented development tools to increase delivery velocity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional full‑stack web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Supabase or comparable PostgreSQL‑backed platforms, including authentication and row‑level security.
• Proficiency with Node.js, REST API design and consumption.
• Hands‑on experience deploying production applications on Vercel and AWS.
