Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex initiatives that support product, process, material, and equipment development. The role focuses on achieving production goals related to quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety within a medical device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive complex or novel assignments that develop new or improved technologies, products, materials, processes, and equipment.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in technology development, product design, materials testing, specification development, and process studies.
• Provide guidance to product, process, and technology teams and influence engineering decisions.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring successful completion of project goals.
• Mentor and train technicians and engineers, offering work direction as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• English proficiency at 80‑89% level.
