Sales Representative – Aftermarket Division (Costa Rica)

About the role

Join 3M as a Sales Representative in Costa Rica, focusing on the aftermarket division. You will work with innovative 3M teams worldwide to grow market share and drive profitable sales growth for differentiated products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sales advice and execute short‑term strategic plans for a complex market/product line.
• Implement priority programs and go‑to‑market plans to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and execute channel strategies, track distributor scorecard metrics, and create cooperative opportunity plans with distribution partners.
• Collaborate with channel partners and the Application Engineering team to understand customer pain points and deliver solutions.
• Monitor sales data, market trends, and partner performance to optimize strategy.
• Supply demand input to Integrated Business Planning and pricing input to the Area Portfolio Leader.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, local regulations, and corporate policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the electrical field and 2 years in B2B or technical sales.
• 2‑3 years of commercial experience selling differentiated products that require cost‑benefit analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Advanced English level and a B1 driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and a personal network of contacts.
• Results‑oriented, able to work under pressure, with strong integrity and negotiation skills.
