Remote Accountant – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and support month‑end close for a remote client. The role is fully remote and requires high accuracy, organization, and the ability to handle multiple financial workflows independently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and cash‑flow tracking.
• Support payroll preparation and contractor payments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Organize financial documentation and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with accountants and internal teams during month‑end close.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Reliable, process‑driven and able to meet deadlines independently.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (hands‑on experience required).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Advanced Excel skills.
