Regional Controller

About the role

Freeway is seeking a Regional Controller to join its Finance team and support the fastest‑growing Summit Partner in Latin America. The role will oversee multinational financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive strategic financial insights across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close for all Freeway entities, delivering timely P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Coordinate with local accounting firms, tax advisors, and financial service providers to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and mentor local finance teams, establishing clear responsibilities, schedules, and internal controls.
• Analyze profitability by project, service line, and business unit, linking operational performance to financial results.
• Manage intercompany transactions, multi‑currency consolidations, and tax reporting for multiple Latin American jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, controllership, or financial operations, including managerial roles.
• Hands‑on experience with multinational closures, intercompany accounting, multi‑currency environments, and tax coordination.
• Proven ability to work with distributed teams, business leaders, and external providers across a region.
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is highly valued.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Experience with robust ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and automation/AI applications in finance
