Financial Analyst 2

About the role

This Financial Analyst 2 position supports the MAS NA organization and assists in coordinating monthly accounting processes across several general ledgers. It covers oversight of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support accounting matters including general accounting, external audits and ad-hoc analysis.
• Create and post key journal entries and identify and resolve errors in invalid cost centers.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items on time, and carry out other month-end general accounting procedures.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for US GAAP and management reporting.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including reporting orders and sales and reconciling source data with PBI dashboards.
• Prepare a balance sheet review template with variance analysis.
• Assist with monthly product group reporting and quarterly product group forecasting for MAS NA.
• Propose improvements to daily financial procedures and handle ad-hoc requests and reports for management teams.

Required profile

• BA or BS in Accounting or Finance, or a master's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 1 year of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience (general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, US GAAP, balance sheet preparation, forecasting).
• Self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple demands, works well in a team and communicates at all levels.
• Detail-oriented and able to deal with ambiguity; English at B2 level, written and spoken.

• Power BI experience preferred
• Experience with SAP Financials modules or similar systems preferred
