Accounts Payable Analyst – E-Billing & Outside Counsel

About the role

This is a 3-month contract engagement within the Global Legal Services team, supporting the E-Billing & Outside Counsel Assistant role. You will help keep day-to-day e-billing operations running efficiently, manage outside counsel invoices, maintain system accuracy and coordinate with Accounts Payable.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoices received through Litify and check they are accurate and complete before they enter the approval workflow.
• Serve as Litify Administrator for new matter requests, new user activations and account setup.
• Maintain daily Litify integration reports and flag discrepancies.
• Coordinate manual invoice processing with Accounts Payable so payments are made on time and accurately.
• Administer the invoice workflow, including sending reminders to invoice reviewers.
• Support the use of FrontApp for the LegalOps Outside Counsel Program, managing incoming requests and communications.
• Assist with ad hoc requests such as invoice status reviews or reporting needs.

Required profile

• 2+ years of related work experience in e-billing, billing administration, accounting or a legal operations environment.
• Detail-oriented, able to review invoices, reports and system data carefully.
• Skilled in cross-team collaboration with Accounts Payable, Legal and outside counsel firms.
• Effective communicator, both in writing and verbally.
• Experience in global team environments and across time zones.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data management.
• Experience with e-billing systems or legal matter management platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
