Payroll Coordinator

About the role

Safeguard Global is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join its global team. This entry‑level position will support the full payroll life‑cycle for workers across multiple regions, ensuring accurate and compliant payments while providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for Safeguard Global workers, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company payroll policies and relevant governmental regulations.
• Investigate, correct, and approve payroll reports, ensuring they are balanced and accurate.
• Produce and maintain KPI dashboards, internal reports, payroll schedules, and master payroll inputs.
• Process payroll payments on time and monitor employee data for completeness.
• Handle funding and billing activities, generate sales invoices, and maintain related documentation.
• Process employment contract changes, salary adjustments, and benefits updates.
• Respond promptly to queries from internal support teams, partners, and clients.
• Execute compliant off‑boarding procedures for both indefinite and fixed‑term contracts.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in payroll or related HR functions.
• Strong understanding of payroll concepts and local payroll legislation for supported countries.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the local language and English.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
