Manager, Experience Research & Insights

About the role

As a Manager, Experience Research & Insights you will lead research initiatives that help Deloitte’s Brand Marketing & Communications teams understand user needs, evaluate experiences and shape brand and product decisions. You will work across cross‑functional groups, translate findings into clear recommendations and support strategic business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute user research studies, including in‑depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, user testing and secondary research.
• Develop research plans and methodologies aligned with product, brand and marketing objectives.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns, sentiment, user needs and market opportunities.
• Partner with brand, marketing and other stakeholders to turn insights into recommendations, frameworks and decision‑support materials.
• Create reports, dashboards, presentations, personas and other deliverables for business audiences.
• Lead research workstreams, guide team members and promote the use of AI‑enabled tools in insight generation.

Required profile

• 8 + years of experience in user research, qualitative research, marketing strategy or market research.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, market research, business analytics or a related analytical field.
• Proven experience designing and conducting interviews, focus groups, ethnographic studies or usability testing.
• Strong English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Costa Rica without employer sponsorship.
