Lead Associate Operations - Procurement

About the role

WNS, part of Capgemini, is seeking a Lead Associate Operations – Procurement to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and support the procurement function across multiple business units. You will act as a central coordinator, ensuring projects move smoothly from intake to execution while delivering measurable savings.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end strategic sourcing projects (RFx events, negotiations, renewals) and maintain detailed project plans.
• Own the PMO operating cadence, preparing materials and tracking outcomes for weekly and monthly governance forums.
• Serve as the primary liaison among Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Finance, Legal, and internal business owners.
• Maintain accurate spend and savings tracking, reconciling committed versus realized savings for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements, standardising templates and reducing cycle time.
• Administer procurement and sourcing tools, ensuring data integrity and driving user adoption.
• Support supplier onboarding, contract renewals, and lifecycle management in partnership with Sourcing and Legal.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reports to give leadership visibility into pipeline coverage, savings, and execution performance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical rigor: able to structure ambiguous problems, work with data, and turn numbers into actionable insight.
• Excellent project‑management skills: highly organised, capable of running multiple workstreams simultaneously with clear ownership.
• Effective communication: able to keep diverse stakeholders aligned on status, risks, and next steps.
