L2/L3 Systems Engineer (MSP Experience Required)

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a skilled L2/L3 Systems Engineer to support multiple U.S.-based clients in a Managed Services Provider environment. The role involves diagnosing complex infrastructure issues, implementing Microsoft cloud solutions, and ensuring high‑quality technical support across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 support for client infrastructures, including Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers, and endpoints.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft cloud services such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, and directory synchronization.
• Configure, maintain, and resolve issues with firewalls, VPNs, content filtering, and other security solutions.
• Support virtualization platforms, hypervisors, and virtual machines.
• Assist with Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop deployments.
• Oversee backup solutions, perform troubleshooting, and verify successful recovery processes.
• Document service calls, technical resolutions, system configurations, diagrams, and internal procedures.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Research and implement new tools and best practices to improve client environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet SLA commitments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven.
