Junior Tax Accountant & Data Entry Specialist

About the role

Dimov Tax is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Tax Accountant and Data Entry Specialist to join our remote tax preparation team. You will be responsible for entering client tax information accurately, organizing electronic files, and supporting senior tax professionals throughout the tax season and year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Enter client tax documents and financial data into Intuit ProConnect Tax with high accuracy.
• Review client submissions for completeness and flag missing information.
• Organize and maintain electronic tax files and supporting documentation.
• Verify data accuracy before it is handed to senior preparers.
• Assist with scanning, importing, and categorizing tax documents.
• Communicate with team members about inconsistencies or missing data.
• Follow tax office procedures and data‑security protocols.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to tax professionals as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required); Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently, meet productivity standards, and manage deadlines.

Required skills

• Intuit ProConnect Tax (or similar tax software).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Document management systems.
• Fast and accurate data‑entry typing.
