Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist at Solesis will support the Costa Rica location by delivering HR services that align with corporate objectives and local regulations. This role partners with managers and employees to foster a positive work environment, drive talent development, and ensure compliance with Costa Rican labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching, advice, and solutions to managers on HR policies, employee relations, performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct internal investigations, exit interviews and analyze data to recommend improvements.
• Administer annual performance management, merit increase programs and maintain accurate job descriptions.
• Lead local payroll processing, HRIS maintenance and ensure alignment with compensation frameworks.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and support change‑management efforts.
• Ensure full compliance with Costa Rican employment contracts, mandatory benefits, working hours, health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all organizational levels.
