About the role

The position is responsible for leading and advising the licensing management of the organization’s technology needs. It ensures business continuity, cost reduction, and high‑quality IT service delivery through analysis, negotiation, acquisition, and renewal of licensing contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the licensing portfolio, validating contracts and ownership documents to ensure proper operation of products and services.
• Advise on licensing requirements for new services by analyzing projects to optimize license usage and reduce expenses.
• Validate installed licenses through cross‑checks, detect deviations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and formalize licensing contracts with suppliers, achieving price reductions and lower operating costs.
• Handle direct licensing negotiations for items outside the corporate procurement process, securing the best cost and quality.

Required profile

• Active university student (≥80% of program) in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field, with proof of enrollment.
• At least 3 years of experience in license administration and management.
• Experience in evaluating, selecting, and contracting IT suppliers.
• Proven ability to monitor service levels, cost, and performance indicators.

Required skills

• Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles
• License lifecycle management (contracts, ownership, consumption metrics, subscription models)
• Budget forecasting, renewal planning, cost analysis and optimization
• Supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
• Inventory reconciliation, standardization and compliance
