Executive Customer Project Manager

About the role

The Executive Customer Project Manager acts as the primary liaison between customer stakeholders, content authors, and delivery teams, overseeing end‑to‑end content operations for multiple concurrent initiatives. The role blends project management, content strategy, and operational execution to ensure that learning content on Microsoft Learn and related platforms is accurate, accessible, and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full content lifecycle – intake, creation, updates, publishing, and maintenance – across Microsoft Learn and associated services.
• Coordinate content updates, resolve broken links, and maintain index pages and tables of contents to improve discoverability.
• Partner with stakeholders to align content with learning objectives, provide editorial guidance, and support instructional design.
• Track work items, timelines, and deliverables using Azure DevOps or similar tools, monitoring pipelines and communicating risks.
• Use GitHub for repository management, supporting pull requests, branching, and version control.
• Oversee video and asset publishing workflows, handling metadata, linking, and localization.
• Collaborate with engineering, publishing, and program teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth content delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple content‑focused projects simultaneously.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in editorial processes.
• Familiarity with learning platforms and publishing standards.
