Enterprise Data Platform Architect (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Architect to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions on a modern, GCP‑native platform. You will translate business needs into conceptual, logical and physical designs, guide service selection, and work closely with data engineers, product owners and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end data solutions covering ingestion, transformation and consumption for migration and new use cases.
• Create source‑to‑target mappings, handle data types, nulls, defaults, slowly changing dimensions and business rules.
• Select and design GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Dataform, Cloud Storage) balancing performance, cost, security and operability.
• Develop dimensional and analytics‑ready data models (star schemas, fact/dimension structures).
• Apply security and least‑privilege principles at dataset and domain levels.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Data Engineers and QA to ensure designs are implemented correctly and quality is built in.
• Produce design artifacts (HLD/LLD, diagrams, mapping specs) and lead design reviews.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Hands‑on delivery mindset with a focus on scalability and reliability.
