Employee Relations & Retention Generalist

About the role

The Employee Relations & Retention Generalist ensures strict compliance with labor legislation while designing proactive talent retention strategies. This role supports a stable organizational climate that upholds quality and productivity standards within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee disciplinary processes (warnings, suspensions, terminations) in full alignment with the Labor Code.
• Provide advisory support to production supervisors on internal policies and labor law interpretation.
• Manage labor mediations and represent the company in inspections or judicial proceedings when required.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of personnel departures, focusing on the first three months of probation.
• Administer climate surveys, develop action plans, and measure improvements in employee satisfaction.
• Execute and analyze exit interviews to identify risk trends and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration or a related field; specialization in Labor Legislation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing (preferably medical device or Free Trade Zone environments).
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) for corporate reporting.
