Cloud Architect (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions for our customers. The role is fully remote and full‑time, focusing on Azure‑based architectures, governance and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architecture consulting, including reviews, guidance, creation of artifacts and documentation, and support for risk assessment and service vetting.
• Deliver cloud engineering assistance by resolving complex issues, developing new solutions, performing proofs‑of‑concept and driving cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Design detailed implementation road‑maps for IaaS/PaaS, DR, virtual networks, VPN/ExpressRoute, site‑recovery and migration of workloads to Azure.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and multitask effectively.
• Azure certifications such as AZ‑104 or AZ‑305 are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Azure SQL, Web Apps, Application Gateway, CDN, AD authentication, Virtual Networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, Site Recovery).
• Proficiency with JSON templates, PowerShell scripting, Visual Studio, Linux, Chef and Puppet.
• Experience with Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange and Intune for integrated cloud solutions.
