Business Development Representative

About the role

As a Business Development Representative at LSEG, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients across financial institutions, asset managers, and corporations. You will identify, engage, and qualify high‑value opportunities for LSEG’s Data & Analytics solutions, including Refinitiv Workspace and LSEG Eikon.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach targeting C‑suite and senior finance executives.
• Partner closely with Account Managers and Sales Directors to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
• Research and map target accounts using LSEG tools and market intelligence to identify decision‑makers and pain points.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ data needs, business challenges, and strategic priorities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside‑sales role, preferably in fintech, financial data, or B2B SaaS.
• Understanding of financial markets, capital‑markets workflows, or investment‑management processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage CFOs, CIOs, or Heads of Research.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, and competitive with a track record of meeting targets.
