Commercial Analyst

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support strategic business development across acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and commercial agreements. The role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies that drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Structure moderately complex business problems, develop hypotheses and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform strategic priorities.
• Assess industry structures, business models and profit drivers to synthesize insights for strategic direction.
• Develop data‑driven recommendations, linking them to financial and execution plans to create value.
• Prepare target lists and perform ongoing assessments for acquisition, joint‑venture and divestiture opportunities.
• Implement strategy execution plans, manage workstreams and ensure alignment with defined objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure effective execution and alignment.
• Prepare clear written and verbal communications summarizing analyses and findings for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Commercial mindset with strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and analytical thinking.
