Business Development Manager – US IT Staffing & Nearshore Solutions

About the role
EXSquared is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its US‑focused IT staffing, nearshore consulting, and custom software development services. Based in Costa Rica, you will work on‑site, building a pipeline from scratch and closing deals with senior decision‑makers in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities in the US technology sector.
- Build and manage an outbound pipeline using CRM tools and prospecting platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
- Lead the full sales cycle from outreach through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
- Engage C‑level and VP‑level stakeholders to understand needs and position tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with delivery and recruiting teams to align client expectations with service delivery.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and pipeline KPIs.
Required profile
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience in IT staffing, nearshore outsourcing, custom software development or related technology services.
- Proven track record of opening new accounts and achieving sales quotas.
- Experience engaging senior decision‑makers at US‑based companies.
- Solid understanding of staff augmentation, SOW models and US tech market dynamics.
- Fluent English (C1/C2) – written and verbal.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
