Benefits Administrator

About the role

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experience by managing Snap Finance's comprehensive benefits programs. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees, ensuring accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness programs.
• Coordinate leave administration with UNUM, employees, managers, Payroll, HR, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor active leave cases, update Workday, manage payroll impacts, benefits continuation, and return‑to‑work activities.
• Handle leave escalations, resolve discrepancies, and manage complex cases with UNUM.
• Process employee enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and benefits changes accurately and timely.
• Serve as primary point of contact for benefits and leave questions, providing clear guidance.
• Maintain vendor relationships, manage escalations, service issues, and implementation activities.
• Coordinate annual benefits renewal and Open Enrollment with brokers and internal partners.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions and benefits‑related transactions.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure data integrity across Workday and vendor systems.
• Support benefits billing reconciliation, vendor audits, compliance reviews, and required documentation.
• Maintain the annual benefits and compliance calendar, managing notices, filings, audits, renewals, and deadlines.
• Assist with 401(k) administration and compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, and related regulations.
