AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and harden Linux‑based production environments, including patching, backups and AD integration.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash or similar languages.
• Build, deploy and support Java applications with Maven, Gradle and Spring frameworks, as well as Node.js services.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Automate provisioning of on‑premises and cloud resources and manage containerized workloads with Docker.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab Pipelines) and artifact repositories like Artifactory.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and follow best practices for security and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience working on large, complex systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot difficult issues and contribute to shared libraries.
