Auxiliary Accounting Project Manager

About the role

The Auxiliary Accounting Project Manager supports the Finance Business Integration team by coordinating and managing accounting‑focused projects. This role acts as a bridge between accounting, technology, and operations to ensure financial integrity throughout system implementations and new initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, tracking, and coordination of financial and accounting system implementation projects.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage test cases, document results, and flag accounting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with technology, operations, and finance teams to resolve findings from testing and pre‑launch reviews.
• Document processes, findings, and lessons learned during implementation phases.
• Monitor project deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Identify and escalate accounting risks to leadership in a timely manner.
• Review and validate accounting records, accounts, and configurations before project launch to ensure data accuracy and production readiness.

Required profile

• Accounting degree or related field.
• 2+ years of transactional accounting experience, including month‑end closing, sub‑ledger management, balance‑sheet reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience supporting planning, tracking, and coordination of financial system implementation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with UAT execution and documentation of accounting discrepancies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English (B2 level).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle Financial Applications.
