Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function of Costa Rica Dream Makers, a premier provider of luxury vacation rentals and experiences. The role will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger, payroll, utilities, and treasury functions.
• Prepare cash forecasts, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile capital assets, trust accounts, fixed‑asset activity, and debt activity.
• Coordinate annual audits and enforce accounting policies.
• Identify improvements, initiate corrective actions, and lead projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a professional accounting department.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Highly organized with extraordinary attention to detail.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
