Accountant (Contable) – 3 Years Experience Required

About the role

Latamlex, a leading legal services provider in Costa Rica, is looking for a qualified Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle and ensuring compliance with local tax and labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare and file basic tax declarations in accordance with Costa Rican legislation.
• Support payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Generate financial reports and maintain accurate records using Excel.
• Utilize SAP for accounting transactions and data management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in full‑cycle accounting.
• Basic knowledge of tax legislation.
• Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in SAP (mandatory).
