Finance Analyst – Controlling (GFS Americas)

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Finance Analyst for Controlling within its Global Financial Services (GFS) Americas team. Based in the San José centre, you will support month‑end financial management, balance‑sheet governance, SOX controls and external reporting for commercial regions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Own the Financial Control Framework and SOX control responsibilities.
• Participate in SOX and non‑SOX control review processes.
• Provide business support for external and internal audits.
• Reconcile SAP ledger SPL and COPA data.
• Manage GR/IR accounts reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyse capital accruals.
• Support statutory reporting to tax authorities and central bank requirements.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Recognised finance or accounting qualification (Bachelor level).
• Ability to work effectively across diverse global teams.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with confidence to express clear financial opinions.
