Senior Manager, Finance Transformation – Cloud & Marketplaces

About the role

Elastic is seeking a senior finance leader to design, scale, and automate financial systems that support its hyperscaler marketplace business. The role bridges corporate finance, sales operations, and product engineering to optimize quote‑to‑cash and revenue recognition across AWS, GCP, and Azure marketplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with IT and product teams to create scalable workflows linking hyperscaler portals with core finance systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zuora.
• Automate complex marketplace transactions, including private offers and custom metering, and build data pipelines for reliable billing ingestion.
• Define financial process standards for deferred revenue, gross‑vs‑net accounting, and ASC 606 compliance specific to cloud marketplace deductions.
• Develop transaction‑level reconciliation models to match hyperscaler disbursements with internal contracts.
• Lead change management, user acceptance testing, and author SOPs for finance teams when launching new marketplace capabilities.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, financial systems, or tech‑sector consulting.
• 5+ years managing financial operations or billing infrastructure for apps sold through AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplaces.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale software integrations or Q2C transformation cycles in a B2B SaaS environment.

Required skills

• NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora (including RevPro)
• SQL and Business Intelligence tools for data transformation
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure marketplaces and related APIs
• Familiarity with marketplace middleware such as Tackle.io
• Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
