Senior Blue Yonder OMS Developer

About the role

As a Senior Blue Yonder OMS Developer you will design, build, and enhance enterprise Order Management System (OMS) capabilities that power large‑scale, omnichannel commerce solutions. You will work hands‑on, turning well‑defined business and technical requirements into high‑quality customizations, integrations, and extensions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Blue Yonder OMS functionality based on approved designs and requirements.
• Implement OMS configurations, custom extensions, and workflows for order orchestration, sourcing, fulfillment, and returns.
• Build and maintain integrations between Blue Yonder OMS and surrounding systems such as commerce platforms, WMS, TMS, ERP, and payment services.
• Participate in solution design discussions, providing technical input and feasibility assessments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established engineering standards.
• Engage in code reviews, testing cycles, and release activities to ensure solution quality and stability.
• Collaborate closely with QA, product, and other engineering teams to deliver committed scope on time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including refactoring, performance optimization, and documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Blue Yonder OMS Developer on implementation or enhancement projects.
• Solid understanding of order management concepts such as order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, and returns.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for development and troubleshooting.
• Experience operating within Agile delivery teams and standard SDLC practices.
• Ability to work from defined requirements while independently completing development tasks.
• Clear communication skills for collaboration within distributed, cross‑functional teams.
