About the role
Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead its flagship fine‑dining steakhouse. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing all operational aspects of the restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, control and direct daily operations of the fine‑dining restaurant.
- Select, train, evaluate, motivate and discipline staff, supervisors and assistant managers.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, ingredient sourcing, preparation methods, and wine‑spirit knowledge.
- Handle guest complaints, special requests and ensure personalized service.
- Collaborate with the Director of Outlets, Food & Beverage leadership, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to develop menus and wine lists.
- Participate in regular operational meetings to align cross‑departmental initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a fine‑dining or upscale steakhouse restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
- Passion for excellence and a commitment to delivering luxury guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
