Remote Family Law Paralegal

About the role

We are looking for an experienced family law paralegal to join our remote team supporting top U.S. law firms. The role involves handling sensitive family law matters from a home‑based office, ensuring cases progress smoothly and deadlines are met.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and format petitions, motions, declarations and discovery documents.
• Assist with divorce, custody, support and related family law matters.
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines and task lists.
• Organize financial disclosures, exhibits and supporting documentation.
• Conduct legal and factual research as required.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.
• Support attorneys with trial preparation, mediations and hearings.
• Proactively follow up to keep cases moving forward.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in family law.
• Strong understanding of U.S. family law terminology, documents and workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
