Remote Attorney – Personal Injury Support (Costa Rica)

About the role

The Ledger Law Firm, a U.S.-based personal injury practice, is expanding its international legal support team. We are looking for a fluent‑English attorney based in Costa Rica to work remotely with our U.S. litigation and case‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organize and summarize case files, medical records, insurance documents, police reports and legal correspondence.
• Assist U.S.-licensed attorneys and case managers throughout the personal injury process, from intake to settlement or litigation.
• Draft client updates, demand letters, case notes and other legal support documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurers, medical providers and internal team members.
• Identify missing information, deadline issues and opportunities to strengthen claims.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney or recent law graduate in Costa Rica.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong legal reasoning, attention to detail and professional judgment.
• Ability to work remotely with discipline and consistency.
• Familiarity with U.S. personal injury, insurance and litigation concepts.
• Prior experience with U.S. law firms or personal injury case management is strongly preferred.
• Maturity, accountability and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
