Python Game Developer (Panda3D) – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Python Game Developer with deep expertise in Panda3D to create and optimize 3D game simulations for AI training applications. This fully remote contract position offers flexible hours and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize 3D game simulations and environments using Panda3D.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement, maintain, and debug Python and C++ codebases integrated with Panda3D.
• Contribute to GitHub version‑control workflows, including branching and pull‑requests.
• Ensure cross‑platform compatibility and performance across diverse hardware configurations.
• Document architectural decisions, code, and processes clearly for collaborative development.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience developing with Panda3D (experience with other engines is not a substitute).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
• Strong command of GitHub for code management.
• Deep understanding of 3D graphics pipelines, simulation logic, and cross‑platform development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
