Payroll Officer – Night Shift (GDC)

About the role

Join Newmont’s Service Enablement Group as a GDC Payroll Officer working the night shift. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for a global mining organization, supporting employees and maintaining reliable payroll records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, pay history, and tax information.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, taxes, deductions, and payroll matters.
• Support payroll reporting and assist with audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with payroll procedures, policies, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within payroll processes.
• Process employee payroll data in the SAP payroll system and reconcile errors before payroll submission.

Required profile

• Technical certificate or studies in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2).
• Understanding of payroll management, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to follow procedures, analyse payroll data and resolve issues effectively.

Required skills

• SAP HR and Payroll systems.
• SuccessFactors Remuneration module (plus).
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Advanced Excel skills.
