Pastry Cook

About the role

Texturas Restaurant is looking for a full‑time Pastry Cook to join its on‑site culinary team in Cabo Velas. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goods that meet the restaurant’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, mix and bake ingredients to produce pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
• Decorate and plate desserts according to menu specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and timely service.
• Contribute creative ideas for new dessert items and seasonal menus.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a pastry or bakery role is preferred.
• Relevant culinary education or certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
