Pastry Cook

About the role
Texturas Restaurant is looking for a full‑time Pastry Cook to join its on‑site culinary team in Cabo Velas. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goods that meet the restaurant’s high quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, mix and bake ingredients to produce pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
- Decorate and plate desserts according to menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and workstations.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and timely service.
- Contribute creative ideas for new dessert items and seasonal menus.
Required profile
- Prior experience in a pastry or bakery role is preferred.
- Relevant culinary education or certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
