Manager, Experience Research & Insights

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Manager to lead Experience Research & Insights within its Brand Research & Insights team. You will guide research initiatives that uncover user needs, evaluate experiences, and shape brand and product decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute user research studies, including in‑depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, user testing, and secondary research.
• Develop research plans and methodologies aligned with product, brand, and marketing objectives.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, sentiment, user needs, and market opportunities.
• Partner with brand, marketing, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate findings into actionable recommendations, frameworks, and decision‑support materials.
• Create reports, dashboards, presentations, personas, and other deliverables that communicate insights to business leaders.
• Lead research workstreams, mentor team members, and support the use of AI‑enabled tools for insight generation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in user research, qualitative research, marketing strategy, or market research.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, market research, business analytics, or a related analytical field.
• Proven experience designing and conducting in‑depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, or usability testing.
• Strong ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear findings and recommendations.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both oral and written.
• Legal authorization to work in Costa Rica without employer sponsorship.

Required skills

• Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics or Decipher.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
