Instock Manager – Global Retail Imports

About the role
Amazon is seeking a motivated Instock Manager to lead the end‑to‑end import supply chain for its Global Direct Imports program in emerging markets. You will own the flow from manufacturers to Amazon fulfillment centers, driving inventory strategies that enhance customer experience, sales, and margin.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the instock function, including forecasting, ordering, capacity management, and unhealthy inventory control.
- Develop and refine import ordering strategies to balance domestic and imported sourcing.
- Partner with technical and product teams on buying automation and system audits.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, finance, and external vendors to improve supply‑chain efficiency and reduce defects.
- Provide data‑driven insights and reports to support high‑visibility business initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong business judgment with a proven record of project delivery and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical abilities, comfortable generating forecasts, reports, and analyses.
- Self‑starter who can thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
- Effective written and oral communicator with a bias for action.
