In-Business Risk Lead Analyst

About the role

The In-Business Risk Lead Analyst joins Citi’s Consumer Protection Regulatory Risk Team to strengthen oversight of regulatory compliance risk. The role focuses on assessing regulatory impact, identifying emerging risks, and supporting governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess issues to determine regulatory impact on consumer protection laws.
• Analyse customer pain points and regulatory complaints to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks.
• Collaborate regularly with ICRM to ensure correct interpretation and application of regulatory requirements.
• Support the completion of regulatory risk assessments and prepare presentations for governance committees.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of risk and control assessment methodologies.
• Drive change initiatives, streamline processes, and create efficiency improvements for the team.
• Escalate, identify, and manage potential risks, implementing controls that enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
